Points of Sale (POS)

POS is an account for working with the POS application. Through it, the cashier scans the customer's QR code, prints a receipt, and awards points according to the linked loyalty programs.

Plan Limits

The number of points of sale and cashiers is limited by your subscription plan. Check the conditions in the Subscription and Plans section or on the Favy website.

Point of Sale and Cashier - What's the Difference

The same POS object serves as either a point of sale or a cashier - depending on whether the Fiscal Number (FN) field is filled:

SituationRole
FN is not filled or is uniqueA separate point of sale
FN matches an existing POSA cashier at that specific point of sale

Thus, multiple cashiers at one physical checkout are created as separate POS accounts with the same FN. Each POS has its own settings - loyalty programs are not inherited automatically.

Error Prevention

The fiscal number is used to verify that a receipt belongs to a specific point of sale during scanning, preventing accidental point awards.

Add a POS

Click "Add POS". A form will open:

FieldRequiredDescription
NameInternal name for reference, e.g., "Checkout #1"
EmailLogin for the POS application
Phone-Contact number for the point or cashier
PasswordPassword for the POS application
Fiscal Number (FN)-Number of the fiscal registrar. Used for receipt validation. Can be entered manually or by scanning a receipt with the "Scan" button. Leave empty if a fiscal registrar is not used
Loyalty Programs-Select one or more programs that will apply at this POS. If none are selected, points must be awarded manually

Click "Add" to save.

Loyalty Programs on POS

Each POS has an independent set of linked programs. When a customer's QR code is scanned, the system applies the programs specifically of that POS - by priority, until the first match.

If no programs are linked, the cashier can award points manually directly in the POS application.

Multiple Programs on One POS

You can link several programs with different conditions - by customer groups, days of the week, or time of day. The system itself will choose the most suitable one at the time of the transaction. → More on the selection logic: Loyalty Program Setup

Edit and Delete POS

Click on the desired POS in the list - the same form will open with filled data. Make changes and save.

Deleting a POS

When a POS is deleted, its transaction history is preserved, but the account itself stops working in the application. The cashier will not be able to log into the POS application.
